Personal Development
You are what you think about most of the time, so what are you thinking about? If you are like most, you probably aren’t always thinking about being successful, healthy and happy, but instead you may be thinking about the swine flu or the financial meltdown, or maybe what the neighbors may be thinking about you. Some people even think about being sick and broke all the time, and guess what, they usually remain sick and broke most of their lives.
Would you like to break out of your bad habits and start thinking about a fabulous lifestyle? Well, you really don’t want to eliminate your habits, just change them from bad habits to good habits. We are creatures of habit, and if you try to eliminate a bad habit as opposed to replacing it with a good habbit, you may find yourself running in circles with much effort, but not much of a desired result.
I’m learning some new techniques and pushing myself to replace all of my bad habits with really good ones. I have been rising very early each day and bouncing out of bed to embrace the day starting with a power walk / jog that has me going anywhere from 3 to 5 miles every day. I find that this big step to start with sets my mood to one of a positive, can do attitude and also makes me very happy plus my endurance has really improved too. I’m finding that I can put some really good thoughts in my head very early in the morning that will carry me effortlessly through the entire day.
James Allen wrote “As A Man Thinketh” over a century ago, and Napoleon Hill crafted The Laws of Success and both give us everything we need to fully master ourselves to become anything we think about or create anything we desire. It is simple but not easy, that is until you master it by repetition of the basics. Malcolm Gladwell wrote in “Outliers” that to master most things takes at least 10,000 hours. The same good things over time will unlock some of the “Magic” that the universe has an over abundance of. Happiness is the key, and it is also a barometer and compass to keep you on course. As long as you are feeling good, you are going in the right direction. If you start to feel bad, then just change your direction until you start feeling good again. It really is that simple, but as I mentioned earlier, it isn’t easy unless you develop some good simple habits and that is what I want to share with you on this website and newsletter along with a bunch of tips, encouragement and Positive Mental Attitude.
Reading is not just fun, but also the key to unlock life’s secrets.
Below are some of my favorite books, and not just any books, but the ones that will help you unlock some of life’s greatest secrets. The discoveries that Napoleon Hill came up with in his 17 Laws of Success are so complete when you start to master them that just by mastering just a few of them will bring you riches beyond imagination, but mastering all 17 of them will unlock the greatest treasure chest in the universe.
James Allen wrote “As a Man Thinketh” over a century ago gave us so much to ponder as we travel on the journey to our success and happiness, that when fully understood, will also unlock the universes riches for those lucky enough to master it’s basics in the 8 pillars of success and happiness.
When you read Claude Bristol’s “The Magic of Believing” and David Schwartz’s “The Magic of Thinking Big” you will start to understand just how to take what James Allen and Napoleon Hill gave us to the next level.
