A DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF
THE EIGHT STEP PATTERN FOR SUCCESS
.
STEP 1: DEFINE YOUR DREAM AND GET A BURNING DESIRE FOR ITS ACHIEVEMENT.
• Pen and paper and ask yourself, “If money wasn’t an object, what would you do and what would you buy?” (10 minutes)
• Peruse the list above, and write down the top five things you would like to have within the next five years (this may be on the sheet you just created or something else).
• Ask yourself, “What one thing do I think I could achieve in the next five years (that would get me really excited)?” Get your chief aim.
• Specifically define your chief aim. If it’s money, work out exactly how you would spend it.
• Create a Dream Board. For example, get photos, pictures, etc. of what you would do with the money. Put the Dream Board somewhere that you constantly see it.
• Make a dream book.
• Put pictures of your chief aim and your dreams everywhere.
.
STEP 2: MAKE SOME COMMITMENTS.
• An example of commitments you will make might be, “I’m going to spend three hours a day/week working on my business.”
• You should commit to a certain amount of time, and a particular day or days that you will work on your dream.
• Commit to reading, even if only 5-minutes each day.
• Commit to listening to audios, even if only one way on your return journey in the car.
• Always review the commitments you make.

.
STEP 3: USE THE PRODUCT YOU ARE SELLING.
• If you are going to promote GIN, then become a member.
• If you are a member, you must use the product and engage in the benefits of membership: Go to basic training sections on website, listen to the audios, read the books, and go to the events.
• Upgrade to the next membership level.
.
STEP 4: MAKE A LIST.
• You must have a list of prospects so that you can sell some GIN memberships, sponsor people, or sign people up.
• Take a piece of paper and pen (or computer), sit down and ask yourself “Who do I know?” Do not pre-judge anyone; just make a list of every relative, friend, co-worker and anyone else you know.
• Always add to the written list.
.
STEP 5: HAVE A MEETING.
• Show the plan, have a meeting, and talk to someone who is not in GIN, about GIN, to get them into GIN.
• Send an e-mail, letter or postcard to the people on your list (sample letters provided on the website), call the people on your list, or give the YOUR WISH IS YOUR COMMAND audio series with a letter to your potential leads. Ideally if you send an e-mail, you should follow with a letter and a phone call.
• Call your prospect and do a three-way phone call with the potential new lead. Let your upline who is a member explain GIN to the other friend.
• Invite the person for a one-on-one meeting. You could bring your sponsor or someone in your up line with you. TAG (Talk About GIN).
.
STEP 6: FOLLOW UP AND FOLLOW THROUGH; ANSWER QUESTIONS AND OVERCOME OBJECTIONS.
• Prospects most often don’t jump in right away.
• You should communicate with everyone in your affiliate network and everyone you approached that said, “No” at least 1-2 times a month. You should call and build relationships with your downline and upline.
• Remind that prospect that you are still in GIN that it’s a great deal, and is working.
• Let them know you’d still love them to join.
• You are answering their questions properly and are overcoming their objectives.
.
STEP 7: START THE PERSON RIGHT.
• Get them to listen to the following audios:
??Your Wish Is Your Command
??How to Get Started Fast
??How to Create a Perpetual Money-Making Machine
• Help them define their dream, make commitments, make a list, send communications out immediately.
• Get them to go to a function as soon as possible.
• Help them follow the 8-Step Pattern for Success.
• Get them to read at least the first two chapters of The Magic of Thinking Big.
• Get them to listen to the Affiliate and Member Basic Training audios.
.
STEP 8: PLUG INTO THE SYSTEM.
• Books: Read at least 5 – 10 minutes a day.
• Audios: Listen to them daily.
• Events and meeting: Attend as many as you can.
• Build relationships: Develop relationships and friendships within GIN, your upline and your downline. They are stabilizing and help you grow. Remember, your income is always the average of your five best friends.
• Recognition. Genuinely recognize others for their accomplishments and be recognized for your accomplishments.
The GIN system is a power source that will keep you energized and enthusiastic. You are now in a business of your own, but you are not on your own. Always remember, do the right things long enough and consistently.
